PAK Accounting was founded as a bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services provider for businesses in 2013.. Our company specializes in helping small businesses and non-profits grow into profitable, successful companies by providing financial, managerial & strategic expertise. We believe in the promotion and growth of small business and non-profits by identifying and solving problems, listening to the needs of her clients and managing their firm in an ethical and professional manner. It is our passion to encourage small business owners, and develop accounting and communication practices to help others grow professionally and financially in their business endeavors.

OUR STAFF

Patryce Rispress-President

Patryce has over 20+ years in accounting and tax. A former CFO and Director of Finance, she’s known for turning chaos into clarity—modernizing back offices, tightening controls, and translating numbers into confident decisions for entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and families. Born in Columbus, Ohio and based in North Carolina, Patryce is a mother who loves traveling, cooking (including the lost art of canning), and preserving family stories as the unofficial historian. She serves as Treasurer of TREIA and board Treasurer for the National Black MBA Association – RDU Chapter and Compass Youth, and she regularly teaches practical budgeting, credit, taxes, and small-business finance in the community.

Holly Burns-Staff Accountant​

Holly possesses a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration, showcasing more than 6 years of significant expertise in the accounting sector. In addition to her impressive professional background, Holly is deeply committed to her family and cherishes moments of leisure with them and her beloved dogs. Her enthusiasm for reading, traveling, and embracing the outdoors not only adds a dynamic and enriching dimension to her character but also underscores her exceptional value as a key asset and employee for the organization. Holly's multifaceted qualities make her an invaluable contributor to the team.​

Tai Shanetta Phillips-Bookkeeper/ Tax Preparer​

As a Connecticut native and proud Haitian descendant, I find joy in preparing both southern and Caribbean cuisines. My culinary expertise shines through in my renowned macaroni and cheese, while my preferred dessert is the delightful banana pudding, although I have a soft spot for apple pie.

Beyond my role at PAK Accounting, I am a dedicated student and a versatile artist, proficient in various forms of artistic expression. I take pride in my 4.0 GPA and am currently pursuing studies in medical billing and coding, complemented by a strong foundation in accounting. Tai Shanetta is not only a valuable asset to our organization but also a stellar employee, bringing dedication, creativity, and a strong academic background to contribute to the organization's success.

Jennifer Myers-Staff Accountant

In 2008, Jennifer earned her Associates degree in accounting, marking the commencement of a remarkable 12-year journey in bookkeeping. Her extensive background spans across diverse sectors such as manufacturing and retail, where she assumed the role of Office Administrator. In this capacity, she expertly managed accounting, payroll, human resources, and month-end closing processes, accumulating valuable insights along the way. Today, Jennifer showcases the wealth of knowledge she has acquired throughout her career. Her multifaceted skill set and dedication make her a tremendous asset and exemplary employee for the organization. Beyond her professional achievements, Jennifer finds joy in family moments, especially spoiling her grandchildren. Additionally, she indulges in recreational activities like riding golf carts and four-wheelers, all while passionately contributing to the world of dog breeding and raising.

Mohoganey Hollowell-Executive Assistant

Mohoganey is a versatile professional with a diverse background spanning production, management, and childcare. She thrives on facilitating the achievement of others' business and personal goals, making her an ideal fit for the role of administrative assistant. As a crucial member of our team, she not only excels in organizational tasks but also enriches our work environment with her global perspective. Whether she's efficiently managing administrative duties or sharing captivating anecdotes from past work experiences, Mohoganey brings a refreshing and dynamic energy to our team.

Jacqueline Vandyke-Bookkeeper

Originally from Louisiana, Jacqueline has called the Raleigh area home for over three decades. While in college, she discovered her passion for accounting after taking an elective course. However, she pursued a career in IT, earning a degree in Computer Science and building over 30 years of experience as a QA Engineer. After her last QA contract ended, Jacqueline revisited her long-standing interest in accounting by enrolling in courses at Wake Tech. Now, as an intern at PAK Accounting, she is excited to gain hands-on experience in the field. She looks forward to learning from her colleagues and contributing to the team's success.

 

Mia Spells-Bookkeeper

As a dedicated intern at PAK Accounting, I am currently a junior at North Carolina Central University, pursing my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. My passion for numbers and finance drives my commitment to excellence, and I pride myself on my strong work ethic and organization skills. I believe every detail matters, and I strive to bring a fresh perspective to our team as part of a new generation of aspiring accountants. My goal is to not only contribute to the success of our projects but also learn and grow within the field. I am excited to collaborate with my colleagues and contribute innovative work methods that can enhance our approach to accounting practices. I look forward to developing my skills and building a solid foundation for my career. ​​​​​

 

Equira Rispress-Marketing & Communication Specialist 

Equira Rispress is an early childhood educator, a mother of three, and a creative professional dedicated to helping children and families thrive. Since earning her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2015, she has supported learners across age groups—pairing nurturing care with structure, play, and clear communication to build confidence and spark curiosity. Over the past decade, Equira has partnered closely with families, coordinated classroom activities, and contributed to positive learning environments that center equity and belonging. Recently, she has become more community-oriented, expanding her impact beyond the classroom through outreach, parent engagement, and collaboration with local organizations. Equira is now stepping into a Marketing and Communication Specialist role, where she brings a teacher’s clarity, a parent’s empathy, and a creator’s eye to storytelling, social content, and community engagement. She looks forward to connecting with partners, elevating voices, and sharing ideas that strengthen families and neighborhoods.
